Wicked creek died because TCF kicked out their WIcked Creek security force (Zenith Affinity) who handled about 90% of all invasions. Why was that was done? Well, you should ask TCF.

I'm sorry that you got screwed as a bystander. You really should give 0.0 another shot in a different area that's politically stable (relatively speaking. :) ).

Disclaimer: I'm a bit biased because I was a fresh recruit to a ZAF corporation at the time that this happened. 8-( So my foray into 0.0 was also heavily disrupted from the get go as well.

Try not to let that experience put you off 0.0, the opportunities it will give you are nearly endless.

It's unfortunate you got a bad landlord, that didn't complete their side of the bargin. However their are plenty of other alliances that will negotiate (and honour) any rental agreement your alliance may make.

Trouble with renting, I guess, is that are you paying for space to use or security? Worth getting it clear up front. Once roaming gangs know they can get easy ganks against mining corps/ alliances, they'll come back more often.

Thing to do is make it hard for them to get easy kills, and they'll get bored.

You're right Ombey. Problem is having that mentality is one thing, but applying it to all the other renters is another. We're talking about an environment in which ratters/miners would ignore intel channels, ignore local, and proceed to scream for help when they get caught in a belt. No matter how many times you tell them, they just don't learn.

With BoB on it's Max campaign, I suspect a lot of smaller entities are going to find it hard to live in 0.0. This is the problem till you get beyond a certain size. When the big boys are disrupted, the small fry pay the price. Glad to see you got your assets out.

Its sooo true Wicked Creek residents are so scared of fighting its unbelievable. You can go in with a small gang of 2-5 guys no one will bother you as you pounce on some poor guy ratting outside the station systems. Heck you can setup a dictor and it will take the residents 30-60 mins to form a sizeable response.
Where is TCF to be found? They are in Curse making isk where their assets aren't in jeopardy or out on campaigns trying to gain more territory to rent out. TCF are true slum lords.

Im in an alliance now in fountain. We got PVP, Mining, Invention, Everything really. Fountain is a pretty peaceful place, however we just moved in so everyone is checking us out, so our PVP Corps are having fun with that, but after we get ALL our POS's set up and get sov. so we have a station it'll be good. if your interested let me know.
